Finished stripping the bulkhead window frame.  Cleaned the paint off the window rubber and used rejuvenating solution to finish it.  Vactan’d and rusty bits and painted on some etch primer on the bare metal bits including the welded repair.

Hot again today but below 30C so I was able to repair the steel frame of the forward-facing, bulkhead-mounted large vestibule window by welding in a new strip along the bottom.  This had rotted due to its contact with the aluminium beading that runs horizontally below the two windows on the front bulkhead.  Hopefully I shall be able finish preparing the window and paint it tomorrow.

Owing to the extremely hot weather (37C yesterday and 40C today in the garden) little has been achieved apart from stripping paint from some of the panels that will need to be replaced as part of the entrance vestibule refurbishment.  This included the surrounding  inner panels for the forward large window and the beading and side panels adjacent to the the entrance door.  I noted that the door hinge is chrome but has been overpainted with black paint which is easily removed.
