The last few days have been spent as follows: straightened up the cut edge of the steel roof reinforcement in the roof above the entrance door ready for welding in new steel. Cut new steel for the hole. This involved adding a curve profile from flat to match the roof profile. Welded repair section into roof. Trimmed welds with angle grinder. Next, I drilled and countersunk holes to secure roof repair to the wood frame. Secured with stainless no. 14 screws .
