Cleaned and Vactan’d nearside hub, primed with red oxide both drive hubs.

Removed offside rear mudguard by cutting off the heads of the screws.

Only able to work for a few hours today but finished cleaning and stripping the drive hubs and gave them both a coat of Vactan.  Preparation for refitting included sanding off raised burrs around the bolt holes and cleaning out the grooves on the periphery of the mating surface.

Cleaned N/S drive hub, sanded off burrs on the mating surface (no doubt part of the cause of the oil leak from here) ,  removed the chrome and enamel AEC badge and stripped all remaining paint and rust ready for new paint.
