Dismantled the remaining three nearside half-drop window pans today.  Salvaged the glass that was usable  and the brass channel from the top rail of two of them.  The third was so choked with decomposed rubber that I left it for another time.   Cut up the rusty steel into easily-disposed-of pieces ready to take to the tip.  Started to scrape the corrosion from the alloy glazing bars.

Drilled and countersunk all but the top rail mounting holes in window frame no.1.  Cut the aluminium panels for the waistrail below the opening windows.

Completed fitting up of window no. 1 today.  It needs mounting holes drilling in the edges of the frame flanges.  Cut up the remains of another of the  nearside windows and cleaned and stripped the alloy clamp bar ready for paint.
