Welded in the remaining piece of the repair to the front bulkhead.  Ground back most of the welds, a little left to do then need to obtain the right kind of fixings to secure it to the woodwork.  What looks like blobs of weld is in fact a trick of the light reflecting from where the weld line and nearby metal has been ground flat.
